On Friday, I went with some friends to the Kyoto Aquarium. There was a lot of beautiful sea life on display.
These little guys were very popular.
I was trying to get a picture of the one penguin near the camera but, looking at it now, the group of people solemnly staring at the one penguin in the background really makes me laugh.
We went to see a dolphin show:
It was cute. But I would say the main attractions at the aquarium were the many and varied jellyfish.
They were artfully lit in dark rooms to make them look extra interesting.
There was a gigantic tube shaped area that allowed people to be totally surrounded by jellyfish.
On the way out, I bought a jellyfish lapel pin.
Hopefully, one day it'll be cold enough again for me to wear a sport coat.
