The Elusive Frog

Cgi has officially jumped the megalodon, if you ask me--that's what I took from the teaser to Weta's Wind in the Willows. It almost seems like a hoax, it's so lazy. It looks like something someone made in 3D Studio Max seven years ago and didn't upload because of how unremarkable it looks. What the fuck, Weta. Disney's version was low budget for Disney at the time, but their Mr. Toad still looks a million times better.

At a better freshwater body, I fed the ducks again yesterday. They were back to taking bread right out of my hand;



It was a hot day, so maybe that's why they seemed to want to spend about as much time drinking as eating;



The mudhens were very bold this time, and the adult continually grabbed pieces of bread and carried it back to the younger ones.

Here a young one rushes to meet the adult halfway back to the water;



After that, the kids seemed comfortable roaming about on land while they waited for the goods.
